Chris believes that every American should be able to retire with dignity and security. That's why in Congress Chris is fighting to protect and expand Social Security.

Chris stands with the labor movement and supports the union way of life. At Pitt he fought for a union with the Steelworkers, and in Congress he will always fight to protect hard-earned pensions and outsourcing of jobs.

Good Healthcare

Chris believes that healthcare is a human right. The way he sees it, it is obscene that some Americans cannot afford healthcare一or are stuck paying way too much for lousy care.

Safer Communities

Chris is fighting for a safer Western PA. He supports law enforcement, mental health investments, and common sense gun reforms to keep weapons of war out of our communities and out of the hands of people who are dangers to themselves or others.

Energy Policy and the Climate Crisis

Chris believes that we need bold and swift action to make Western Pennsylvania communities resilient to the effects of climate change and to secure our children’s future on earth.

Protecting His Fellow Veterans

During Chris’s deployment to Iraq, he saw firsthand一like too many of his fellow veterans一the consequences of a war that we never should have fought.
